Ana Murillo: Activist, rock wall lava artist, and food-focused landscaper.
When Ana was still in High School in South Central, Los Angeles, she would sneak out of her house at night to go help the homeless living on Skid Row. When she left school, Ana worked for an NGO on Skid Row and came up with the idea of linking local university law students with some of the homeless who needed much-needed legal help.
After moving to Big Island, Ana has focused on local community farming projects as well as creating unique lava rock walls and sustainable landscaping. She also hunts wild pigs.
